Smart Erection: Traceability That Continues on Your Site
The record of every member does not stop at the port. With Smart Erection, your site team and erection contractor know which package and container each member is in, where it goes in the building, which step it belongs to and whether it has been inspected and accepted. You and World Steel follow the same progress, live. Smart Erection is free for every World Steel client and their local erection contractor.

Erection sequence and 3D simulation
The sequence is proposed from the geometry (bases, columns, bracing, beams and rafters, purlins), with dependencies and a schedule, and must be approved with a method statement number.

Grids and zones
Positions in site language (G/13, A/1–3). Grids and levels come from the model; site coordinates are proposed and approved, never changed automatically.
Ready for Erection
For each step: what is missing, such as members not delivered, drawings awaiting approval, open NCRs or an unfinished earlier step.
Receiving and yard
Container arrival and seal check, package scanning, damage and shortages, and yard locations you can find from the passport.
Site inspections
11 inspection types, from grid position, level, plumb and bolting to field welding, temporary stability, anchor bolts and final acceptance, with NCRs and deadlines.
Drawing control
Drawings move from draft to approved, issued for construction, superseded and as-built. Members with an unapproved drawing are placed on DRAWING HOLD.
Client portal and share links
Invite members of your team by role and expiry, or share a link limited to the model, sequence, drawings, inspections or handover, with a PIN.
Site app, offline
Large buttons for scan, member, 3D, drawings, guide, progress, photo and issue. Works without a connection and synchronises without overwriting accepted data.
Responsibilities
Clear roles: who updates, who accepts
Progress buttons follow permissions: the installation supervisor records "in progress", "temporarily fixed" and "installed"; the QC inspector records pass or fail; acceptance is a separate step. The person who updates progress cannot accept their own work, and accepted data is never overwritten when two updates conflict.

Your team and your local erection contractor, free of charge. You choose the people: for example your site manager, installation supervisor and QC inspector, each invited with a role and an expiry date. You can also share read-only links with a defined scope and a PIN.
Does it work without internet on site?
Yes. The site app can be downloaded for offline use and synchronises when the connection returns, without overwriting accepted data.
Does World Steel erect the building?
No. Erection in Guyana is carried out by the client or licensed local partners. World Steel provides the erection drawings, the sequence information in BOM Studio and remote technical support.
What if a member is missing or damaged?
Record it at receiving or as a site issue with photographs. It is checked against the packing list and loading photographs, and followed until it is closed.
