Ask an engineerDo I need to approve fabrication drawings?
No. You approve the shop drawings; fabrication drawings are our internal production documents prepared from them. They are available on request for your records.
Can my inspector visit the factory?
Yes. Third-party inspectors are welcome at hold points, and you can also follow production through our online factory audit.
How are parts identified?
Each part has a piece mark that appears on the fabrication drawing, the packing list and the erection drawing.
What if a part is wrong?
Non-conforming parts are put on hold and recorded in a non-conformance report before correction, so they are not shipped.
