Lower intermediary costs
No reseller margins between you and the factory. Your budget pays for steel, engineering and quality, not for hand-overs.

For Project Owners & Investors
Every agent, trader or importer between you and the factory adds a margin and another hand-over. When you deal directly with World Steel, you pay the manufacturer, talk to the engineers who design your building, and see your steel being made. Lower intermediary costs, clearer responsibility, fewer surprises.
Figures and certificates as published by World Steel Group.

Direct vs Indirect
A steel building bought through a chain of resellers often passes through several hands before it reaches Guyana: a local agent, an overseas trader, sometimes a sourcing company that subcontracts the fabrication. Each one adds a margin. Each one passes information on, and each hand-over is a chance for a detail to be lost.
When you buy direct, the quotation comes from the company that designs and makes your building. You see what you pay for, the engineers answer your questions themselves, and responsibility for the steel structure sits with one company, from the first drawing to the container on the ship.
What you avoid by buying direct
How the same steel building reaches you in two different ways.
| Topic | Through intermediaries | Direct with World Steel |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Factory price plus a margin at every step | Factory-direct quotation, itemised by scope |
| Who you talk to | An agent who relays your questions | Victor Dang, our engineers and your project manager |
| Responsibility | Spread between reseller and an unknown factory | One manufacturer for design, fabrication and export |
| Seeing your steel | Rarely possible | Online factory audit, photos in weekly reports |
| Quality evidence | Depends on what the reseller receives | ITP, inspection reports, mill certificates and MDR |
| Changes | Passed along the chain, often slowly | Written variation with price and time, from the source |
| Delivery terms | Often one fixed price, conditions unclear | Quotation in the Incoterms® you choose, e.g. FOB, CFR or CIF |

FAQ
Straight answers on scope, design codes, shipping and what happens in Guyana.
Ask an engineerIt depends on the project and on how many intermediaries the alternative involves, so we do not quote a percentage. What we can show you is a factory-direct quotation, itemised by scope, that you can compare line by line with any other offer.
The risks come from not knowing who makes your steel and how. With World Steel you know: an IAS AC472 accredited manufacturer, ISO 9001 quality management, an online factory audit before you order, weekly progress reports and a complete quality dossier.
