Remote Supplier Audit
See exactly who will make your steel structure. In a live video meeting on Zoom or Microsoft Teams, our engineers, quality team and production managers take you through the World Steel factory in Tay Ninh (formerly Long An), Vietnam: the production lines, the quality system, the records you will receive and how your project would be produced. No flights, no visas, and your whole team can join.

Factory
World Steel manufactures steel structures and pre-engineered buildings in its own factory at Hai Son Industrial Park, Duc Hoa, Tay Ninh Province (formerly Long An), Vietnam, and exports them to Guyana and more than 15 other countries. Founded in 2012, the company opened this factory in 2016 and has exported since 2019.
During the audit you see the facility as it is on the day, not a video made for marketing. Ask to see any area, any machine or any record listed in your agenda.
World Steel does not have a factory, office or erection crew in Guyana. Foundations, erection and local approvals are carried out by licensed local contractors and engineers, working from World Steel drawings with remote support.

Quality Process
Quality is checked by people and documented in records. In the audit you see both: the inspection being done, and the record that proves it.
Heat numbers tracked from the mill certificate to the finished member.
Welding Procedure Specifications qualified by PQRs, and qualified welders for each process and position.
A project ITP with inspection, hold and witness points agreed with you.
Lengths, hole positions, camber and squareness checked against the drawings.
UT, MT or PT by qualified inspectors where the specification requires it.
Surface preparation and dry film thickness recorded for every coated member.
Measuring and testing equipment calibrated and traceable.
Deviations recorded, corrected and closed before shipment.
Your engineer or a third-party inspector is welcome to join the audit and witness inspections later.
Project Records
Every project is delivered with a Manufacturer's Data Report (MDR), also called a manufacturing record book or quality dossier. It brings together the records that show your steel was made and inspected as specified, so your engineer, your client and the approving authority in Guyana can check it.
In the audit we walk you through a sample MDR from a completed project (shared with the owner's permission, client details hidden) and agree what your own MDR will contain. Its exact content follows your specification and the ITP agreed at order.

Accreditation
In 2019 World Steel became the first company in Asia accredited by the International Accreditation Service under IAS AC472, the criteria US building officials recognise for the inspection programs of manufacturers of metal building systems. Our certificate is MB-268, valid to 2027.
IAS audits our design, purchasing, welding, calibration, inspection and training procedures every year, with unannounced inspections. Your online audit lets you see the same system for yourself and judge how well it fits a high-quality steel structure project.
Audited by IAS
The audit is designed to answer the questions owners, engineers and contractors ask before choosing a steel supplier.
| Your question | How the audit answers it |
|---|---|
| Can they make my structure? | Live view of the lines and equipment, and reference projects of similar size and type. |
| Do they have the capacity for my schedule? | Capacity, current workload and a production slot discussed openly. |
| Is their quality system real? | Inspections shown live, records on screen, IAS AC472 certificate. |
| What will I receive with the steel? | A sample MDR and the list of records agreed for your project. |
| Will it arrive in good condition in Guyana? | Packing, protection and container loading shown, with loading plans and photos. |
| Who will I work with? | The engineers and managers who would handle your project join the meeting. |

Vietnam is 11 hours ahead of Guyana. The production lines run during Vietnam working hours, so a live walk-through usually means an evening slot in Georgetown, which is the next morning in Vietnam. The form shows the Vietnam time for the slot you choose.
